What is the Navagraha Shanti?

Navagraha itself denotes the nine celestial planets which have been the center of all the astrological calculations in Indian Astrology.

When a person takes birth if the position of anyone or more Grahams (Celestial Planets) is in such a situation that it affects the human body and mind unfavorably. It is called Navagraha-doshas. When a person takes a birth planet’s position in such a way that it affects a person’s body, mind, and life in an unfavorable way.

The nine planets namely the Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, and the two shadow planets Rahu and Ketu constitute the significant and most noteworthy Navagraha.

The Navagraha Shanti helps to reduce the negative effects (dasha) of the planets thus improving the positive energies related to a person.

How to know that a person’s life has Navagraha or Graha-dosh?:

A person needs to meet a learned Astrologer (Jyotishi). The learned astrologer would then read carefully person’s natal chart. He would then study and understand the effects of all the planets in a person’s Birth Chart (Kundali).
